My Story
Tamara Alsaied is a 16 year old singer, dancer, actress, and model. She was first introduced to the industry as a baby model doing several commercials and print work. At a very young age, she fell in love with theatre when she performed in her first ever theatrical show, Charlotte’s Web as Wilbur. Since then, Tamara has done a variety of shows; including pre-professional, youth, community, and high school productions. At age 14, she decided she wanted to try song writing. From there blossomed her first single, “Kyoto”. Tamara realized how much she loved music and songwriting, and continued to release other songs such as: “Honeybee”, “Starfall”, and “Egypt” (which is set to be released on March 13th.) This past year and a half, she has been very focused and determined to make connections with people using her art. When she was at her lowest points, what brought her up were music and theatre. She hopes to utilize her passions to inspire others to see the good in situations, and be kind to themselves. Tamara plans to go to a university for Musical Theatre which is a huge deal given her background as a Muslim-American. While she has found a home in the arts, her goal is to represent the Muslim-Americans and the Middle Easterns around the world by utilizing her platform and art. She finds that she makes her best art when she is most raw and real. She goes by the mantra, “Be raw. Be real.” to remind herself and her supporters that when it comes down to it, we are all humans that crave connection, and things such as art and vulnerability are what bring us together. Come and join Tamara’s journey of self-discovery, growth, what art means, and pursuing her passions and love for the arts.
